L1000779A short biography:  I was born in Houston, Texas, lived in Lake Tahoe, and studied at the University of Arizona and at the University of Southern California Gould School of Law. After graduation, I practiced law in Los Angeles for 7 years before moving to the desert to explore other ways of living and being. My first book, “A Scattering of Light:  Inspiration for Finding Peace on a Windy Day” was published in 2012. I am also a Certified Martha Beck Life Coach.

I created this space to share some of the wisdom I have discovered along my own journey.  If you are feeling lost, start with the entries under For a Windy Day, where you can find articles dealing with relationships, meditation, ways of peace and stories of inspiration.  If you would like to work directly with me to uncover your true self and to learn how to live from a place of abundant joy and peace, please refer to the information under Coaching.

I don’t have all the answers, and I don’t know what’s best for you.  What I do know is that you are the best navigator of your own journey.  I also know how easy it is to become disconnected with the sense of purpose and passion that can guide our way, and I know that sometimes we need others to help us find our way back to ourselves.  When we share the answers we’ve found, when we help others along their own paths and accept their help in return, we all stand a little taller and walk a little further.  None of us journey alone.  We find peace and love together, or not at all.  If we all keep scattering the light we’ve found, we’ll find our way home.

May you discover the beauty that lies in harmony.

May you find peace on a windy day.

You have a real talent to express some very basic truths that so many people miss in a busy world with too much outside input and not enough self reflection. Keep it up!
